Hi Ulla. You are getting a good selection of birds now. This is one more bird i have never seen so thanks for posting. I have only got into small song birds in the last 3 years i did not own a camera 4 years ago so i have a lot to see and learn.
This is a very neat looking birds it has the look of a wag tail . i like the yellow bod which you have captured with good detail. well done TFS.

This is very beautiful Wagtail and its nice shot. It is common here. But it is different from your nominative subspecies and belongs to M. flava feldegg. Later has black head contrast your bluish one. You captured it among wheat (or another Graminaceae) very well. Nicely composed and focused. Thanks for sharing, best wishes

Hi Ulla,

Very good capture of Yellow Wagtail, which is one of my favourites and unfortunately very much in decline. This is the subspecies I am also more familiar to (in Southern Finland). Nice composition, sharp details, nice BG and good bright colours.

I have seen a Yell Wagtail a few times years ago but alas they are so rare in the Uk now...This blue headed variant is superbly captured and displays him standing proudly amongst the growing wheat..Super sharpness and a very informative note.

It looks like it is a yellow bird trying to be a piece of grass:-) Like in Chorus Line. Very nice offset yet complimenting as well...I loved your husbands story. After reading another's critique I reckon I am about words...and in a way I am glad folks pay attention. Ram taught me when I first came on TN that words accompanying images were so important...

Another bird I have not seen in the flesh. You have been posting quite a variety. A beautiful bird with the grey face and yellow plummage. He looks good standing amongst the green plants.

You managed to reflect the space excellently. Young stems surround the charming bird so attractively. It seems to me they grow in air. Brilliant reproduction of all nice details of the bird. I like great DOF too. Lights and colours are also superb. My best wishes and TFS.
