Great positioning of the frame Greg. Awesome to get both the Moon and Jupiter in the shot. This is fantastic work. Nice job. Thanks. Nice to hear Joanna has a new camera!

A wonderful shot and a very interesting note to go with it. I'll have to try one the next time theere is a clear night :)
So you won't be arguing over who took this or that photo now!
I think the quality of your moon is very good Greg. We were watching the moon ourselves last early evening and we saw a star right beside it. It was twinkling so it can't have been Jupiter.
Hey, the man in the moon's upside down too. He's up the right way 'down under.'

Interesting photo Greg. I like Moon, but my photos of the cosmic object are very bad. Jupiter is big star only for most people.
Fantastic, unusual, different post Greg! Again (last time you did it with the snake picture, remember), you posted the photo which gave me the most joy for the day. The note is very interesting. Thanks!
Regards,
Pieter

If your wife ignores you when going to bed, what else is there to do, grab the cam and take pictures. LOL
Excelent shot, Greg

Superb shot Greg, believe it or not I just recently went to Carter observatory down in Wellington, join them for a session on talking about stars watching and learning about our planet. During the session, this proffesor was talking about Jupiter, how it is the time of the year that it shine really bright.. etc. I don't know much about the planet.. :P but now, twice in one month that I hear/read about it, I think I know Jupiter more then before. Thanks for that good notes! Your photos is great, I really like it, I have try many many time to take photos of the moon, but can't never get as close as this one, even when I used tripot, it is always plan white. This is great! Very well captured. Thanks for sharing, I learn more about it now. :)

That is a good capture of the Moon Grzegorz. Jupiter in this shot is also a definite bonus. You could have darkened down more those features on the moon with a brush. Very good job.
