Description:


Plante de 20 à 50 cm. Inflorescence lâche. Grandes fleurs vivement colorées. Sépales étalés, blanc à rose violacé, pourvu d'une nervure médiane verte assez marquée. Pétales très courts, étroits, verts et velus. Labelle trilobé, bombé, de petite taille, brun rougeâtre à noirâtre. Lobes latéraux formant de fortes gibbosités velues. Lobe médian entier, globuleux, pourvu d'un appendice fortement replié vers l'arrière. Dessin aux contours jaunâtres formant un U.

Période de floraison: Fin mai à fin juin.

Habitat: Pelouses, prés maigres, friches sur substrat calcaire sec à frais.

Statut de protection: Aucune protection.

Hi Gautier,

Nice photo of this orchid. Your photo shows correctly the flower spike. Good color rendering despite the use of flash. May be a tighter crop or a closer shot should have better underlined the flower characteristics.
