Hallo Chris
You’re fungi photographs that you have been placing lately is really remarkable, and this very looooooooooooong yellow one is no exception. I do not have much knowledge about fungi and because of that I prefer not to give my comments on these kinds of postings. I can however not let this beauty pass without adding my little comment for what it is worth. A well composed image with good and clear details. The colour of the plants emphasise the details and colour of the fungi even more. A splendid image indeed. Trek Nature is without a doubt a very interesting and most educational site. Not a day will pass that I don't see or learn something new. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your day.
Kind regards.
Anna

the image is sharp with good colour and details
well done
cheers

Nice colours and sharp image I agree with your ID. The foliage around the fungi looks black I assume that from a sooty mold? Thanks for showing

Another great capture Chris.
Not sure if this is Hygrocybe julietae or cerinolutea or what ... they keep changing the names every few months anyway.
Its a nice clear shot any how,
Good work.
