Orman Fistosu - Zerynthia cerisy

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Yesterday we went to Uludag to have a picnic. This lovely butterfly flies arround us, but never gives pose to take a well composed photo. I found a caterpillar near this butterfly and I gues it is caterpillar form of the same butterfly.
Someone can give me a little info about its species, I'll be happy. You can see as a workshop the caterpillar.

Merhaba Fevzi Bey,

Merhaba Fevzi,
this beautiful butterfly is Zerynthia cerysi from the family Papilionidae.
Your picture nicely shows the characteristic wing pattern and shape of this species.
Best wishes, Peter
Bonjour Favzi,
Salutations
Hervé
