Ophrys tardens(late flowering)is endemic to southern Puglia,principally the Lecce province.

Flowering season: April-May

Habitat: Full sun to mid-shade on dry to moist alkaline subtrates.Short poor grassland,abandoned cultivation,garrigue and scrub upto 400m
