| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Hi Folks , earlier in the year I got this photo of the waxwing , the flock was feeding on residual apples and berries around the town , on this tree the Robins where giving stiff competition , I would have stayed for a nicer shot but some local skidded his jeep through the street gravel and they all flew to higher ground. so I moved on.
I believe the ID on these are Bohemian Waxwing.

hmm i have never seen this bird before, its a good record shot! which shows the kind of habitat that they are found in

Lovely birds...TFS. They blend in nicely with the trees they are sitting in. I like the first bird being focussed with the 2nd out of focus.

Stunning pose and composition. I love the markings on this waxwing, the tilt of her/his head as if deciding where the best bite will come from. This is true beauty as beauty is meant to be...
