We had gone for a morning walk towards the canal. The day was quite overcast, the sunrise showed us a multicoloured sky, with its reflections on the water. Hope you like it.
Most people seem not to like the power lines (as I observed from the critiques). I also am not a big fan of powerlines, but in this particular picture, I somewhat like their presence, to me the silhouetes of these dark small poles lead one into the picture, along the banks of the canal.
Anyways, thanks for having a look at it and leaving behind your useful comments. |

hi Victor,
beautiful landscape shot.. nice warm feel to it from that color. although i must say, i'm not much of a fan of powerlines usually, and can't say how many time's they've been through the middle of a fantastic view ruining my photos!, but in this shot, they kindof make for nice features. nice pov, well composed, well done.

Hello Victor, I've seen this canal before. I like the shot with the early morning warm mood, and that bit of smoke wandering up to join the clouds. It's a bit tilted, or you have some perspective distortion seen on the poles. I've created a workshop to provide you with another option.
Thanks, John
Hi Victor,
A wonderful photo with a great mood and perspective. John's WS is great and shows how important it is to keep the horizon straight. Although the photo would have been even better if the power cables weren't there, it still has a good feel to it.

Niek

Hi Victor,
amazing... so soft, so calm but at the same time with something of mystery.
Good POV, although the horizont line seems tilt a bit to the right.Great sunset colours. Good focus and great great great DOF. Compliments!

Hi Victor,
i realy like the mood you have caught here and the colour tones are beautiful, almost 'tobacco'. I might consider cloning out those power lines as this is a great scene created by nature! Well seen though!
