Like the rest of them, this absolutely stunning picture of a Heron taking off was worth waiting for.
I have yet to see so much clarity and precision in the picture of a flying bird.
The posture of the bird is so elegant one can't stop admiring its beauty.
The wings in the posture look like the petals of a white flower.
Thanks for sharing this masterpiece of a picture.

A beautiful image. Well composed and great timing, good depth of field to retain wingtip to wingtip focus. The upper wing has a few hotspots, if you use Shadow/Highlight adjustment in Photoshop and set Shadow to 0, Highlight to 13/9/1 it will recover the detail there.
