Hi Bev,

Lovely shot of the Jackdaw, there are quite a few where I live but when I see them all I'm without my Camera.
Nicely composed shot with a great POV and lovely colours.
I like the Workshop, you have to admire thses clever birds.

Another bird I have never seen! Lovely pose showing off this handsome Jackdaw. Wonderful colors and sharp details of the face and plummage. I love his eye! Interesting notes and workshop.

An excellent story-teller you have turn out to be Bev..I like it..and it is so much as I was saying about a muffin eating gull I posted a day or so back....scavengers some might call them. I call them survivors...although I'm not into the same diet! Great lesson plan..Sometimes I fell that certain folks have a way of teaching...through words and images....and you are sometimes one of those special folks!

I agree with you, these are lovely birds and very intelligent. I like their blue eyes and they're really quite small compared to Ravens and Crows. You've captured this one in a lovely pose and against a fine soft background. Great details and colours and I like the workshop too! Well done!

Hi Bev,

Excellent capture of Jackdaw with great pose and composition, good POV and nice colours. Jackdaws should be amongst the most intelligent birds. There are many studies of their social life and I believe the most famous is by Konrad Lorenz.
