| This scene shows the path of the barbar as it works its way up the grey river, embracing everything in its path, like a slow moving river of freezing cold cloud. It created this lovely erie feeling as it moved throgh the paddocks, and it was cold. |

Hi Nicki
The 'Barber' (the fog caused by the Katabatic wind coming down through the Grey Valley) certainly creates atmosphere in your image. I like the recession created by the differing tones and the scene is so typical of a rural West Coast morning. I also like the way you have used the gate and fence in the foreground to frame your image. You just need to clone out that dark wee line in the sky and correct for the touch of chromatic aberration that you can see in the large tree on the left. Nice one, well done!
Cheers

A very pleasant scene Nicki.
The mood created by the mist is wonderful.
I love wandering across misty paddocks in weather like this.
That Barber is a killer when I'm surfing at the rivermouth.Brrr!
Great shot.
Cheers
Steve
(ps ... I expect the line in the sky is just a Flying Rod Lol)
