[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The species on the photo Linyphia triangularis, is univoltine and inhabits low shrubs and bushes in many types of habitats.
Linyphia triangularis overwinters as eggs, hatches in late March/early April, and grows to adult stage in about four months. Males molt to maturity about a week before females, the first adults are seen at the end of July. The adult males guard subadult females, fighting with other males over access to the female, and mate with the female immediately after maturation , leaving mating plugs in the epigynum that impedes further copulation and/or reduce female receptivity.

You can see here two spiders during mating. The top one is the male, the bottom one therefore the female. The male was pretty agitated running all over the female again and again. At one point the female had enough and left the web. But moments later she reappeared and the hole process started again.

The body is 5 - 7 mm long. They build so called sheet-webs.

I used a closeup +4 and a +2 lens for this shot.
