Glaucium corniculatum

This flower was at the site of my previous Anchusa sp. post. One of its petals was bent back and I gladly took the opportunity to photograph this flame-like stamens of Glaucium corniculatum.

Tiny black bugs between stamens and on the petal on background are most probably thrips.

Wowwww, this looks like you took the picture in a cavern in flames. Fantastic macro shot, it is very original, I love it! Thank you Ali, this pov from the side, showing in the background the petals like a big wall, superb!
