Hi Chris,
Great bird shot - it seems like beside being master of Australian fungi You're also very good at photographing Your local birds. And this is good.
Perfect composition and DOF, nice natural colors, great POV. Even the branch the bristlebird sits on is focused well, too.
Very minor background noise on the other side, but it doesn't count too much.
Congrats for capturing such a rare bird, my today's photo also shows a local ultra-rarity. Seems like we both had extreme luck. :)
