Amazing in-flight picture of the fine moth and attractive flower. We have similar insects but I cannot take good pictures of them. You have done this perfectly. Exposure time is superb. Sharpness and details of the insect are terrific. I also like excellent composition, precise DOF, great lighting and very nice colours. Bravo and TFS.

Excellent capture of this moth. POV, DOF and sharpness are great. Very good composition. Excellent light and colours. I hope to see this moth this year if the weather gets a little bit warmer. I have already seen it in Bretagne (France), but I have never seen them here in Eindhoven.

Brilliant capture of this interesting Hummingbird Moth at 3000, Ignasi.
You have frozen the subject with perfect details and colours on it.
Along with the flower, it makes a great composition.
I saw a similar moth during my visit to Gurgaon but it was too fast for me to capture.

Hi Ignasi!

It's so difficult to capture a butterfly in flight! And you managed it very well. It's so impressive to see that you kept it in perfect sharpness. The exposure data help us to understand. The flower is a bit overexposed, I have tried to correct it a bit in the workshop. Wonder if you like...

Congratulazioni per la strameritata vittoria ai campionati europei, la Spagna ha senz'altro espresso il miglior calcio che si è visto a questi campionati, la partita meno bella, ma molto emozionante, è stata forse con l'Italia e pur meritando la vittoria non si è espressa al meglio forse per la paura della tradizione negativa (l'Italia è brava tatticamente, ma non era all'altezza di questa Spagna). Splendida macro, molto bella la composizione per l'ottimo momento di cattura, molto buona la nitidezza, bellissimi i colori (il fiore un po' sovraesposto). Grazie e complimenti. Ciao Maurizio

Bonjour ignasi,
Spectaculaire capture et très bon réflexe. Au 1/3200, le mouvement est parfaitement saisi. La bonne exposition sur le papillon impose de surexposer la scabieuse. C'est insoluble, sauf en post-traitement avec logiciel comme l'a fait Heaven.

This is a beautiful scene. Lovely, soft color tones. And you've done very well "freezing" the motion of this moth. Excellent focus on the moth. I like the effect of the blurred background -- this really helps to isolate attention to the moth and flower. Very well done!
