Excellent idea for photo. Damselfly with shadow looks much better then without it :-) I like compositon, sharp details and BG. Slightly too harsh light in my oppinion.

Een mooie compositie van deze libelle. Schitterend zo die schaduw op het blad. De libelle zelf is glashelder en zeer scherp. Blijft toch altijd mooi die fijne lijntjes in de vleugeltjes.

Ik hoop dat je een prettige vakntie hebt gehad in Engeland.

Usually shots in harsh light are not great but you made the most of it with this great shadow. Good work handling the difficult conditions so well. It is sharp and beautifully composed

A very nice capture of the the female C. puella posing nicely on a blade of grass. reat sharpness and fine natural colours. I like its shadow on the leaf too. Very well composed.
