| I didint have any thing els to post so here is one last shot of the Eagle from Battle Ground Lake. I wish I didint cut off the tips of the wings but I'm still having a tough time with in-flight shots. I'm zoomed in too far and don't leave much room for movement. Some thing I have to work on. Thanks for looking and hope you have enjoyed the seres of Eagle shots. |

Hi Tom,
Great shot. It is difficult to get everything sharp with a bird in flight. I am still trying and there always seems to be too much blurring, but you have done well and the bird stands out well from the background. Pity about the wing tip.
regards
Robin
Hey Tom...it is the last of a series and tips of wings or not, it finishes it off without dropping off the edge on the log. Considering I had paid much attention to your series, I frankly didn't notice the tips of wings cut off...Sometimes rules go out the window. It was too important of an image in the series to leave it out. Very good!

You are asking a lot of yourself. There is only so much you can think about in the split second when an eagle takes off. Sometimes we get lucky and sometimes not. It's still a great capture with lots of detail in the eagle.

hello Tom
this is a superb in-light shot of the Bald Eagle
with a fish capture, very fine POV, DOF and framing,
excellent sharpness and details of the eagle,
sometimes it is a problem when we zoom too much
and don't leave much room for movement. it is something
that i try to do attention, sometimes i said myself don't zoom too much,
