Bottlenose Dolphin (Tursiops truncatus) - Drake Bay
i saw that thin water line from the surface to the dorsal fin few times in the photos i've taken.
new born or baby dolphins tend to take their whole head out of water to breathe but adults can breath from their blowholes while their heads are below the surface. all this takes few seconds or less, so it's a real challenge to picture adult dolphins from a boat.
