[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi All , this is my second upload of this pale snaiktail dragonfly , from I different point of view. while it was on this perch , I took the opportunity to get a couple of head on shots , but they have the blade of grass that is just under its wing , was in front of the wing , too bad to ,cause that angle had a nicer background. but being a dragonfly certainly does not mean posing all perfect for the camera :-)

I got this shot two days ago , and have been on the look out for dragonflies for a week or more, it's that time of year here, I seen one the evening before , then the next day there where lots , funny how that changes over night :-) , I actually saw and got photo's of two other kinds , a skimmer and a meadowhawk , but they where not being as 'camera friendly' as this one , other than the swarms of mosquitoes , this is my favorite part of the summer , dragonflies are by far my favorite insect , they are so interesting to watch . amazing aerialists , and their little faces have such character ...

Hello Art,
Wow, What a beauty this is and you've captured it so well on this flower. Excellent focus on the eyes, great sharpness and I love the colours! Even though the background is a bit busy it stands out very nicely.
