[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This butterfly belongs to the family of the swallowtails and was not a "youngster" because his one wing was damaged at the bottom (as you can see in the image) and both wings were full of scratches.
I found this butterfly in a reservation for butterflies in northern Germany.
The background was distracting, so I desaturated it to bring out the butterfly and the leaves a bit better.
I hope you like it.

Hello Britta,

This is a very dramatically coloured butterfly. I don't think I have seen it before.

You have done well to blur the b/g; it does enable people to have a clearer view of the subject, and appreciate the skill of the photographer.

Muchas gracias por tus amables comentarios y sugerencias; es bonito que la gente se fije en tu trabajo y además te den ideas y enseñanzas para mejorar.
Tu mariposa es bella y de difícil realización. Bien captados los colores grises y negros. Quizá la hoja seca de la derecha distraiga unpoco al espectador, pero muy poco :-)
Un acertado encuadre y bien tratado el fondo para el contraste.
