[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a picture of a very angry magpie & a ginger cat that is trying to sleep away the afternoon on his shed.
Why the bird dislikes this cat so much i don't know-but the cat must have buddhist beliefs as he endured the magpies attacks without raising a claw!.

I experimented that older cats are slower but more successful. A younger cat will charge again and again and exhaust himself totally. An older cat won't move and show any interest. They know what their chances are. They'll wait for a moment the prey won't be alert anymore. If/when they try, they don't miss.
It is usual for magpies to chase cats away. Cats climbs trees and eat the chicks from the nests. No wonder magpies don't like them.
Magpies, crays and ravens are related and all clever. They know perfectly what they mess up with when harassing something like this cat.
They're clever fast and can fly. So they are very daring too. They may harass anything, anyone. A couple of years ago some crays were stoning all cars of all streets around their nest ... weeks long (probably till they get exterminated)
