| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
A tiny Red-legged Partridge chick (Alectoris rufa) in the evening sunshine. This was one of ten chicks with their mother. My wife and I struck lucky with them yesterday. We had just pulled our car off the road ready to take a walk, and the whole family were in view pecking around for food. We stayed in the car and I was able to take plenty of shots through the open window. There is a picture of the mother and family here
