Hi Pankaj,
i just dropped in quickly to check TN and was greeted by this! I'm sure Tony will be as pleased as i am to recieve this dedication, thank you my friend.
You have used the 10-20mm very well here, creating a great amount of depth and a dynamic, low POV using the fast flowing muddy river to lead the eye into the moody looking sky beyond. Super detail in the Reddish rock too...great shot, well done and thanks again!

You are very good at figuring out peoples styles!!!! I can see the similarities in both Tony's and Paul's. You then add sort of a Pankaj touch to it:-) Very nice and ALWAYS good to see you posting such neat images!

Hallo Pankaj
A very appropiate dedication to two of our most talented landscape photographers. In my opinion you have captured a very moody and downcasted scene of nature here. However it does not make the image less beautiful, in fact it almost highlight the beauty of the scenery to a greater extent. We are so used seeing blue water in the river, blue skies and lovely white clouds. Your image is totally the opposite. It has a great attraction to it and I especially refer to the force of the brown water that is quite obvious, and the thick and dark heavy rain clouds. It looks like it has been pouring for days without end. Thanks for sharing this moody scene. I enjoyed looking at this one. Makes you appreciate the sun and the beautiful weather on the days we have it. Kind regards.

Hi Pankaj,
A perfect dedication to Tony and Paul! And a wonderful photo with the rushing muddy looking water, the rocks on the bank, the marvelous tree and the storm clouds in the horizon. This could easily be a scene in Tucson where our rivers are dry except during a monsoon. In fact, since I refuse to drive to town in blinding rain, I have never seen any water at all in our rivers - just dirt and mud.

Using that lens made the rush of water far into the distance even more dramatic. Sharpness, color and exposure all look excellent to me.

Hello Pankaj
Excellent composition! There is a lot of character in this picture, with the muddied flowing water, the trees on one side and rocks on the other. The monsoon clouds look beautiful as well.

Hello Pankaj,
Great capture of the Ken River in Monsoon flood. Beautiful composition with the trees and rain-clouds with a fine technical quality and perspective provided by your wide-angle. The low POV is very suitable, as thetribute to our landscape experts, Paul and Tony.
Thanks for sharing this somewhat dramatic riverscape,
Best wishes, Ivan

Hello Pankaj,
Beautiful composition and very fine colours for this landscape picture. Earth, water, dark sky make an interesing opposition to the less archaic trees on the right. Very strong picture.
Best regards

Nice shot. Good pov, and the sky looks great. The way the path goes leads the viewer's eyes through the road.

Hi Pankaj,
I missed a few of your wide angle landscapes, but will try to find them in the next few weeks. Here the lens has been used perfectly. The clouds and the texture of the water in the FG came out wonderfully. I like your POV, it is as if you were standing in the river while taking this shot. The color of the rock is, to me, very interesting. I've only seen this color on a clay tennis court, but would never expect to see it in nature. The shadows in this photo are a bid on the dark side, which surprises me considering the overcast.
TFS,
Niek
