Centaurea is one of the richest genera in Turkey. Approxmitaly 190 species distributed in Turkey and these species have 60% endemism rate. C. hieropolitana is endemic species and name of this species coming from Hieropolis (Pamukkale) antique city.

Yavuz bey merhabalar... 190 türün yaklaşık 110 türü endemik.. gerçekten çok ilginç. ne kadar zengin bir doğadayız fakat habersiziz. Bu tür acaba Karamanda da var mı?
