Photographed with the aid of a Nikon spotting scope. Digiscoping is generally not the best technique for photographing small, active birds, because it can be a cumbersome process and shutter speeds are often too slow. House wrens might be an exception, since they predictably return to the same perch or house. This bird always sang a short song to announce his presence before entering his home.
