[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I’ve been a member of this amazing community since March 2007, and it has been a wonderful place to spend some time learning and sharing a love of nature, and photography.

I have been inspired by some very talented photographers and have been encouraged by those same photographers and more, so it is with some sadness I will be taking a break for a while in support of absent family & friends, Howard Cheek, Rob Fry {Arfer}, Sumon Sinha ,& Joe Kellard

Love nature, Love life, its all we have.

I was sorry to read in the forum of your recent losses. This is a lovely tribute to both friends and family and a lovely photo as well. I love the color and your bird nestled amongst the blossoms and framed by them.

Hi Richard,
What a sunny and luminous image!
I like a lot the upwards POV and all the colours/details it reveals.
So good also the light reflected on the eye.
Very appropriate dedication.
Thanks for share it and best regards,
JM

Hi Richard,
Great shot, "a new day dawns" is very apropos!
TN is great, but we all need to explore new things, other avenues in our pursuit of the dream..Things will get back to normal before too long here on the animal farm :)
Just checking back with you my friend, thanx for the kind words.
Good news! My wife just broke down and ordered a Canon 300mm F2.8L IS lens for me..Yippee! :)

Hello Rick,
A fine capture of a Noisy Friarbird beautifully portrayed in fine light among the flowers of a tree unknown to me. Nice dedication to absent friends whom I hope return to TN.
TFS this beauty and for your kind words on my second TN anniversary.
Cheers,
Ivan

Hello Rick,
thanks very much for your support!
I've just got back from a holiday in Spain and now see that everything has cooled down here... also I can critique again, so I will be posting here once more (I can hear some groans!) ;-)
Very fine capture of this unusual bird.
Great composition and stunning clarity.

Well done,
Joe

Apropos your kind critique on my insect image, it's good to have you back on TN, Richard, even though I am reacting to your picture posted nearly a month ago.
Thank God, the tempers have coooled off and things are back to normal here.
This image of a bird sitting on the branch of a flowery tree is delightful. The frontal POV is excellent and I like the way you have captured the bird's eye.
Hope to see you posting again.
