Hi Greg. As you say I to like to watch storms but when i was a young boy i was very scared by the noise. That was a very long time ago. You captured this Just at the right time . It has such amazing power.well done TFS.

Hi Greg,

I've seen a lot of lightening this summer so I know how good this capture is. The only thing missing is the sound of thunder following the strike. Would you share with me what settings you used?

Hello Greg, so you're into thunder and lightning at the moment - we are into RAIN and WINDS in NZ with a couple of tropical storms hitting us only days apart. We came back early from our holiday - which is just as well as the roads up north are now impassable because of the flooding up there.
Good shot of the streaked lightning - and well done on capturing it like this.

Niesamowicie jak mozna pieknie ten naturalny blysk z wszystkimi odnogami na niebie tak uchwycic.Nie jestem sam pewny czy te swiatla w tym mieszkaniu dodaja mu jeszcze wieksza niesamowitosc czy tez bez tego domu byloby jeszcze lepsze.

an inspiring look into the exciting show of a thunderstorm.
Either the watchfully prepared photographer's very quick time of reaction to press the buttom, or great luck. Or both. Seems that some more images of such exciting moments will follow - looking forward to seeing them! Summer in the city at its best.

podzielam Twoją pasję obserwowania burz i błyskawic, niestety tego roku szczęście mi nie dopisało i nie udało mi się ustrzelić żadnej. Jakiś tydzień może więcej temu jednak, po raz pierwszy w życiu, obserwowałem małą trąbę powietrzną w okolicach Olsztyna, szczęśliwie miałem dobry punkt widzenia, aparat i statyw pod ręką więc niedługo na pewno coś wrzuce na TN.

Wonderful stormy shot. Technically brilliant. We also had storms here in Hungary these days / weeks / months... Tried to capture the lightning, but never managed to, at least not on such high level as You've done.
