Goodluck Plant, Polynesian Ti Plant, Tree of Kings
Shrub with terminal tufts of elongated leaves used locally for thatching and clothing; thick sweet roots are used as food; tropical southeastern Asia, Australia and Hawaii

This commonly grown house plant is known to contain saponin. Its fresh juice is said to successfully treat skin ailments, eye strain, and particularly eye inflammation.

Beautiful macro of this beautiful plant Carmen. So unusual and it is well composed with nice sharp details and colours. Well done.

Great macro-shot Carmen. DOF is spot on with focus exately where it should be. Very nice colours and clever handling of the light not to burn the white and pink in the flowers. The diagonal composition is very good. All over a pleasant picture to look at.
