This is a shot of a syrphini eating pollens. A syrphini is a tiny insect, around 1 centimeter in size, and much easier to shoot than bees in close-ups because it doesn't fly around that much.

Hi Coyote, A very good photo. I have only one comment. Your f/stop could have been larger, then your DOF would have been perfect. If I look at your shutter speed, you had ample lighting. But still a very good photo. Keep shootin!!

Great shot, macro is a challenging enviroment

I would like to have seen a little more space on the left hand side for the insect to move into, Cropping will remove some of the white on the RHS which is distracting

All in All this is an excellent shot
