A stealth looking appearance but that only works in radar...I do wonder at why we have named some aircraft with this shape stealth...but ours in metal have various edges which do some sort of radar jamming...this brings to mind whether or not researchers in high tech have used methods learned from creation of nature...

A very fine perch to set it off Anne. You seem to have this almost perfect framing ability in size...very good then!

Probably some other friends would be able to correct me, but I believe that this is some Noctuidae species. Very nice coloours and warm, delicate light. In addition the sharpness and DOF are also exceptional. Bravo and TFS!

A fine sharp frame-filling portrait of this unusual alpine Geometer, Crocota pseudotinctaria, a species that I know nothing about. This is super sharp and the open wings are well displayed on the insect-attracting flower.

ich bin wieder zurück auf TN und werde von Deinen neusten Kreationen überrascht. Hier überrascht mich vieles (nur positiv, natürlich): die Komposition, Deine neuer Umgang mit Weiss, die seltene Art, Deine Fähigkeiten zu schwieriger ID. Bravo Anne! Auch die Datei ist grösser geworden (noch nicht 300 kB). Da geht die Post ab!

This Geometer Moth has placed itself in a perfect position in the middle of the pretty flower and your capture is brilliant. I love the creamy colour with the silvery edge to the wings. Great details and a fine background too. Very well done.
