Done in the lagune at walking distance from the hotel in Cayo Gulliermo - Cuba
Snowy Egret
Egretta thula Order CICONIIFORMES - Family ARDEIDAE
A small, active white heron, the Snowy Egret is found in small ponds as well as along the ocean shore. Its black legs and yellow feet quickly identify it.
Description
Medium-sized, slender all-white heron.
Back legs and yellow feet.
Long thin neck, bill, and legs.
Bill dark.
Size: 56-66 cm (22-26 in)
Wingspan: 100 cm (39 in)
Weight: 370 g (13.06 ounces)

Wow what an awesome shot. I love the water droplets flying thru the air. The reflection, the colours and the pov. a great shot, full of the sense of action.

I hadn't thought about Canadians visiting Cuba. It has been so long since Americans can do that I'd almost forgotten about that possibility. I love the stop action you managed in this shot It is interesting that you caught him on the way up with his catch. Thanks for sharing such a nice photo.

Hola Mario, excelente imagen, has captado un buen momento con una excelente exposición y unos tonos blancos muy buenos.
El reflejo en el agua y las gotas le dan fuerza y mayor merito a la toma. Un saludo
