Hi Radomir,
A beautiful view of this tiger beetle, better in my opinion than your image I´ve critiqued yesterday. Excellent sharpness, details and note. I´ve tried to say TRZYSZCZ, could it sound as trsishtch? what´s the sound of Y in polish?....it a language quite different I speak, spanish

I can see why you have gone as far as you have in this field. You know...very few people with the education and talent you have would post here...a few do and you are one, and if you do not get enough thanks, perhaps it is because some do not realize what wonderful heart you put into your work. Hi Radomir,

Interesting posting and notes. Fine detail on the TRZYSZCZ (I tried to say it as I typed) showing the fine hairs on the legs and body. Nicely placed in the frame to make it stand out. The back right leg is maybe a bit soft but that is nitpicking.

Of course I could pronounce the Polish name correctly! :))
Great macro of the Dune Tiger Beetle, a species that is rare in Sweden. Superb sharpness and great POV, like a good illustration. You must be writing a book on European Tiger Beetles, if not you ought to!
I hope you can come to Sweden. Tell us when you want to come and Ulla and I can advise you on good places to visit at that time of year.

Gdybym byl biologiem, bylbym chyba systematykiem. To wielka frajda klasyfikowac i oznaczac kolejne gatunki rozniace sie w niewielkim stopniu, nie mowiac juz o robieniu im zdjec :-) Mam chyba dusze kolekcjonera :-) A zdjecie bardzo fajne - moze troche przyciemne, za to wyrazne, no i trzyszcz w klasycznej pozie . Nie jestem pewien kolorow - wyszly chyba troche ksiezycowo-neonowe :-) Ale cos w sobie maja. Bardzo fajna notka, pdfa znalazlem juz kupe czasu temu :-)

Oh no, I remember the road signs in Poland way back - impossible - I think we need some lessons in pronounciation from you! I'm glad there is latin although I don't master that either but at least it is easier to pronounce!! Another great capture of a Cicindela showing very sharp details and natural colours even of the sand. Excellent work as usual!

Well, this is really great macro shot. Superb details, POV and composition. I like this family members, but I meet them rare. Lastly, I found similar species on beach of Mediterranean in Adana Prov.

I've tried pronuncing some words in your language back in the US where i had some very nice Polish friends and...well :))

Another great addition to your tiger beetle saga. Your presentation here on TN for this group of animals is impressive and very educational and your photos are always great. They provide extra details and good examples for us all. By the way, Ivan's idea with a book/field guide is realld not bad at all :) I would really think about it if i were you :)
