[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Inspired by Helen Matten (Helkoryo) and this week’s Friday theme on TrekLens, “5 Minutes from Home” — as well as by Bob Shannon (egshannon) of TN and TL fame, and his recent montage — I wondered what I had 5 minutes from home that would meet the requirements of all three Treks. I went out with my camera and that in mind this afternoon. The results are being simultaneously posted on my TrekLens, TrekNature, and TrekEarth accounts. I’ll be interested in your thoughts as to how well it all worked.

After several cool rainy days, and gradually dropping temperatures and turning leaves after the month debuted at 90°F, I'd been wondering how our local flora fares.

Since I'm blesssed to live within five minutes of two parks, a nature trail, and a wildlife preserve, it was pretty easy to find out. These three shots came as I made the rounds of each this afternoon.

What a colorful and beautiful composition, Jim! The three pictures are fantastic, captured from an excellent POV and with very good taste you did a wonderful collage.
