[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
After going, by boat, out in the sea where Danube flows into Black Seal, I continued my trip on Musura bay. This bay is located north from Sulina arm till Chilia arm. At the entrance of the bay a new island is developing so in the next time it might be separated from the sea. The bay has shallow waters and due to the high volume of sweet water bought by Danube water is mostly sweet. There are many birds living on this bay.

While crossing it, a flock of birds gathered behind the boat, hunting in the water agitated by boat’s propeller. Birds were quickly flying in the air then suddenly diving after potential preys.

After the white body, grey wings and black head I think there were from Sternidae family probably Common tern (Sterna hirundo). With all that birds were close to the boat it proved to be difficult taking photos. This is one of them.

i agree with you probably its a Common Tern-Sterna hirundo (Sumru, in Turkish)

Very good in-flight shot of this tern. Excellent POV and focus. Good pose of the bird looking for fish. Beautiful light and colours. Superb blue sky as background.
