[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken at the Palladium Resort beach in, Punta de Mita, Mexico. Last year I wasn't able to capture a decent shot of this lovely fishing bird. The new camera definitely did better.

Looking on this web site, Birds of Mexico-The Audubon Society of Mexico I found this information:

Snowy Egret

A dainty bird about 2 feet long and with a wing span of over 3 feet, it has a black beak, and yellow feet, the famed "golden slippers"! It was nearly hunted to extinction as its breeding plumage, seen in this photo, was in such great demand for hats during the 19th and early 20th centuries, in all of North America and Europe. It eats fishes, frogs, lizards, snakes, and aquatic insects, and is often seen standing in shallow water, stirring the bottom mud with one foot to bring prey into sight. This species also nests in Parque Juarez with the Great Egret and the most populous Cattle Egret.

Hi Lori, did you have a good holiday?
Nice capture of the Snowy Egret, and what long strides he is taking with those golden shoes and black stockings. A little over-exposed on the white, but well composed with good details and colours. Good job!

Well done on this capture. I have to agree with Janice re. the oe on the white, but it's always a toughie.
I love those huge yellow feet, something we don't normally see. I also love the ocean, it looks like black tar! An amazing shot, well done.

Great photo, superior colors, clarity and POV.
