The Pacific Black Duck is one of the most versatile of the Australian duck.It frequents all types of water,from isolated forest pools to tidal mudflats,and is found in all but the most arid regions of Australia.

This duck is mainly vegetarian,feeding on seeds of aquatic plants.This diet is supplemented with small crustaceans,molluscs and aquatic insects.

You "panned" this one beautifully. I would have liked a litle closer crop (if it was possible) to see more of the bird, but this is still a very good shot. Congratulations. TFS.

Hi Chi, nice shot. Always a tough task to get a flying bird. I like the panning here with the BG blurred and giving a sense of movement. Nice shot, well done.

Very nice shot!
I see that you like take photos of flying birds and they are really good. I know this is hard to take such shot, so always admire photographers that can do that.
This one has perfect POV and composition and quite good details.
I like it very much.
