[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I shot this plain tiger this morning at the nehru park in new delhi. The morning was nice and crisp. The light was heavenly. Not very often one sees butts perching on tree trunks but this one did and gave me a good opportunity to get a beautiful background.
Shot using my customary rebel xti and the 70- 200 and ext tubes combo.

A fine capture of a beautiful b.fly partly side-lighted Pushpinder, so the sculpturings of the underwings are highly visible in this sharply focused and correctly exposed image. A slight re-arrangement of the white balance slightly changed, especially in the BG, the colour spectrum in my WS, hope you like that version too my friend.

fine capture of the plain tiger butterfly, its a so common yet very beautiful butterfly and most of the tn members could not resist posting this beautiful insect agin and again,
i liked the monotonus bg which offers good contrat to the butterfly, liked the tight cropping too, sharp image with good details,
