Hello Everyone!!
This is a sun set captured on an evening spent in the picturesque Ilha Do Mel (Honey Island) in Brazil.

Ilha do Mel, Honey Island, is a warped whale-shaped stretch of land just over two miles off the coast of Brazil. It is an extraordinary place. Ilha do Mel has no cars, no roads or power lines to the mainland. It’s an ecological paradise, a conservation project that attracts people who can live without a television in their hotel room. Ilha do Mel has trails that run between hills and over plains that lead to locations with rare beauty. The trip impresses not only with its scenery, but also with the opportunity to be in touch with the area’s rich fauna and flora. There, even the red-topped parrot, which is an endangered species, fly about freely.

It feels good to be the only one to have posted a picture of this Island on TN. I am sure a lot of you people out there have experienced something like this a lot of times and hope you understand the feeling. It's almost like stepping on uninhabited land :D

Hi Kirti,

I like shots like this one, very artistic, some dark places give the mysterious atmosphere to the photo, great light and colours, very good sharpness, pity that you didn't gave the Large Post version to look at, must be really nice.

Spectacular shot with really amazing lighting. It might be worth trying to lighten the right side of the image though just to get a little more detail, as it becomes completely black on my screen. Still love the picture though.
