I haven't posted any pictures for a while (I did critique a few pictures over the last couple of weeks, though), and it looks like I might not be able to post much for the next several weeks. I'm in the middle of teaching and running a month-long series of workshops for teachers and high school girls (technology and computer science), my Canon 10D got the dreaded Error 99 message for the second time in six months (it's in the shop now, getting its circuit board replaced), and I'm leaving for a twenty-day vacation in two weeks. I thought I'd post something just to keep my foot in the door.
This is picture of a grackle, taken on the Rice campus. They are very aggressive birds, and have been known to attack people who come too close to their nests.
I adjusted the levels in Photoshop, then sharpened the image, resized it, and saved and uploaded it. |
