A Zebra Longwing or Zebra Heliconium,the state butterfly of Florida, is actually related to tropical butterflies. They are interesting butterflies, a little different. They live to about six months-long for a butterfly and at night they roost in groups. To me, with their long wings they look like little optical illusions as they hover over flowers.

What a nice butterfly you show us here ! I love the shape and the markings of his wings. Beautiful composition with the b-fly making a diagonal, nice natural colors, excellent POV, wonderful pose of the butterfly, with the wings wide open so we can fully admire its beauty. Very well done !

These butterflies are so vibrant with their dark contrasting colourful wings. I have seen them in our local Butterfly House.
You have composed it well on the angle like this and it is nice and sharp too.
