Yes, it is true. Our the most skill Sabine and its breathtaking macro pictures. Simply great set of shots. I welcome amazing compilation. It is true waterfall of paints and lights. It is fantastic. Details cannot be sharpness and crisper. POV are also brilliant. My congratulations and Bravo and many thanks for your kindness and interest. All the best to you in 2009.

All the best to you, too, my friend and may 2009 be at least as good photography year as 2008 was :) I also hope that it will be a year we'll meet face to face and go shooting together (if you decide to join our big TN meeting) :)

This is again a splendid collage - something we've some to expect from you :) Many thanks, as well, for the special dedication for Greg and myself...i hope you've enjoyed our little friendly competition and why not...let's repeat it next year only with more members ;)
All these dragonflies are amazing and very well and originally displayed here.
I, too, can't wait for their return...

Fantastic collage. I'm really happy that you mentioned and liked our competition with Horia. Maybe you'll join next year? Very arty picture, every dragonflie looks great. I didn't photograph three of them, so Gomphus Pulchellus, Orthetrum coerulescens and Oxygastra cutisii are my favs.

I'm envious of all the beautiful species you have there. We only have a few dragonflies and they are difficult to get close to.

This is an excellent collage of the dragonflies. The focusing, sharpness and lighting in all the pictures are excellent. Each of them has it's own uniqueniss, POV and wonderful composition. The colors are so alive and vibrant. Wonder crisp and clear details and pose. TFS.

Very impressive collage of 2008 photos that I can see all in a page rather going to the gallery and search for them :)

Sharp images!

I can say that all these dragonflies are different from what I see in Sarawak/Borneo. I wonder what makes the color change to be a variation.

Hello Sabine,
I like this collage of pictures a lott.
Last year I concentrated a bitt more on Moths and Butterflies and in this year I think it will be the same,but I always try to make pictures of for me new species of Dragonflies and Damselflies to.
I only have one remark on the ID of the first picture on the right side;
I think that this is O.brunneum because of the white face he has. O.coerulescens has a more brownish face.
