Hello Laurens,
The animal is definitely a beauty especially in terms of colors.
Pity they 're always in the 'dark' forest, at least as far as I know. Anyway the amount of light is limited. Easy to verify through your settings. So that's why the depth of field is bit shallow. But I prefer the former to a flash.

Again beautiful frog from tropical America. Nice, low POV and good sharpness make this picture very nice for watching. Also colours (especially natural mosaic of tones on the body of amphibian) add a lot. So small and so pretty :)
