[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Enroute to Gurudongmar Lake (17,100 feet ASL) from Lachen,North Sikkim. We saw many beautiful mountains covered with many layers of snow over and above cold desert terrain directly as seen in Mongolia/Tibetan plateau.

I had captured such few scenes through my camera to show you dry Sikkim (Cold`desert). This photograph is clicked at an altitude of 15,000 feet ASL.

Hi Subhash,

A beautiful snow covered mountain contrasting so well with the dark brown below. I'm not sure if they are rocks but the shapes and contours are wonderful. An excellent composition for this cold looking landscape.

I have said it before, but I want to say it again: I think seeing a scene like this in real life must be an awesome experience. The Creator of All is just wonderful to have formed and shaped the beautiful nature all around us to admire and appreciate, and this photo of yours is such proof of His Mighty Creation. This is really a magnificent landscape view, with a mix of blue sky, snowy covered mountains and untouched mountains in the foreground. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your day.
