Nice to see you as a neighbour today! This is a wonderful capture of these lovely Alpine flowers that look gorgeous against the dark background. Excellent sharpness and wonderful pale colours. I notice in my flora they're also called 'Pelzenanemone'in German which seems very fitting!

Beautiful flowers and you have captured them magnificently. Great light and shadow effect and I like the way it pops out from the darkish BG. Very neat and sharp image with perfect POV and DOF. Superb composition.

A beautiful play of light in this fine portrait of the flowers Pulsatilla vernalis. The lighting is superb to bring these out against the dark Bg.
They grow on sandy soils in the southern half of Sweden but they are not common.

Liebe Anne,
einen kurzen Moment lang dachte ich schon: Die ersten Frühlingsblumen in der Schweiz!
Noch halb verblüht im späten Frühjahr sehen sie herrlich frisch aus, die Kuhschellen hoch oben auf der Moosalp.
Sehr stimmungsvolles, fast dramatisches Chiaroscuro in bildschön ausgewogener Komposition - wie gemalt von Caravaggio.

Hi Anna,
es ist mein großer Wunsch mal eine Kuhschelle "life" zu sehen, glaubs oder glaubs nicht, ich hab' sie bislang nur auf Bildern gesehen. Keine Ahnung wo ich die hier in meinem Umkreis finden könnte ...
Deine sind wundervoll. So feenhaft, wie aus dem Märchen. Ich muss mich unbedingt in diesem Sommer mal auf die Berge "quälen" - bin ein wenig faul zum Bersteigen - außerdem wird man in unseren bayerischen Bergen schon bald totgetreten, so ein Ansturm ...

Thanks for your critique. As for this flower shot, it is such a lovely and softly rendered.
Great sharpness with thairy looks well seen in detail. what I really like is its emergence out of the dark background. Nice play of light and excellent attractive presentatin that makes viewers like it vewry much.

I think it is the lighting in this composition that takes the cake.This is almost like an abstarct painting of the flower couple.The colours are neautral and little OOF stalks of the bend cups of flowers creates a connect to the BG.The flowers are in fine focus,clarity and sharpness.The direct frontal PoV highlight the work excellently.
The hint of purple on the back of the petals and the dark BG adds further to the beauty of the composotion

Bestimmt bin ich mal achtlos daran vorbeigelaufen. Schöne Nahaufnahme, die Haare sehen in dem Licht sehr gut aus.
