So here goes the following step, head off, and begin to chew and suck the abdomen.

Hi Felipe, excellent capture. He looks happy enough munching away on the mayfly. I'm a little confused to the iD of the Damsel as it looks like a male yet has no blue wing colouration. It sure is a Calopteryx but I don't know the species. Unless it is a male that does not have the bands...it sometimes happens that females have an odd wing banded but the other way around I just don't know. Well done.

Fantastic scene Felipe. First of all I like colours - all these metalic shinning syrfaces of damselfly and its beautifull wings. Poor mayfly or rather its remains also looks good. As always DOF and sharpness are superb!

An amazing macro shot, Felipe. I particularly like the details of the wings. The scene may be cruel, but it's just nature. You captured it perfectly, thank you.
