[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Friends,

Due to my son's studies and preoccupied with the ERP implementation, I dont get the time to shoot outdoor. So happy to shoot inside my colony and that too in the park opposite to my house. I take extra care to preserve the nature and also participate actively in the planatation thereby getting to see and photograph a lot of insect.

I saw this wasp having its breakfast and I was thoroughly enjoying the painful moment the caterpillar was into. I was asking myself why I was not intefering and rather enjoying. I then immediately tried to push the wasp but the caterpillar met its destiny. Perhaps we should let the nature go the way it is rather than trying to interfer. It was rather painful but finally I accepted it. As someone simply put it "Survival of the Fittest" Thank you for reading the note.

regards
Ganesh

Thats certainly a mouthful,or two,for it.

An excellent shotand good note.

Hi Ganesh,

Has Subway come to India? I don't remember seeing any when I was there. Perfect title for this truly excellent shot of the wasp devouring the caterpillar. The sharp details are truly amazing and the colors are magnificent. You captured the moment perfectly in a fine composition.

Jane

Lovely shot Narayan. I think the wasp sucks the liquid and then leaves the worm or catepillar to die. TFS.

Yes, unfortunately we should rarely interfere with wild nature Narayanan, we all have our purpose in life. Great scene you have here, I like the title also, lol. DOF, focus, lighting and sharpness are all great!
