Over here we call those a Rinoceros beatle. They make a loud hissing noise if you threaten them. Nice capture. Although i've never seen them climb plants before, but it's probably a different species.

Belle Macro, Kiril, Les détails capillaires de scarabé sont bon, ainsi que la netteé. Il aurait été interressant d'avoir un peu plus de profondeur de champs. Ceci aurait donné un peu plus de vie à l'insecte. Merci

This is not Diloboderus. It's Oryctes nasicornis - no doubts about it :-) Very nice portrait. Interesting perspective. It's one of the biggest European beetles. Larvae are living in decaying wood and in compost.
Great shot of this beetle! Awesome clarity on the face. I agree with Amir, it might look a little better with a little tighter crop but it looks excellent as is also. God Bless!
