[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This seems a potter or mason wasp, it is so called for its building of mud's nest. It belongs to sub-family vespidae.

Sorry for the leaf which was not tidy, could not get a better view of this little insect!

Please correct me if i have got the identification wrong!

Thanks for your comment on my recent picture of a Plain Tiger butterfly.

I too think it is a Mason Wasp.
The image is taken from a good POV. The focus on the subject is evenly sharp and the details and colours are excellent.

Hi Prasad,
a very sharp and clear shot of this wasp. Well seen in the green background. The composition od colours is excellent. the light that hit the head make is so vibrant and shiny.

Hello Prasad,
This is a perfect macro of what I believe is a Paper Wasp,rather than a Mason Wasp,which is usually darker,and a slightly different shape.
We had some big paper wasps on Niue Island,where I lived as a kid and
we have some a bit like this in the warmer North Island of New Zealand,but not down here in Greymouth.
You've got a lot of amazing shots in your gallery. I'm most impressed!
