Hello Alpo,
a very sharp portrait of the fly. It looks very similar to our Sarcophaga species here in Europe.
Perhaps it is S. carnaria but I do not know whether this species occurs in The Philippines.

Amazing work once again.
You do some fantastic stuff with that S5 IS.
I used to use Panasonic Lumix ....I had 2,then tried the Canon S3 IS but didn't like it so much.
I went back to Lumix for a while,but have just got the SX10 IS.
It took me a good 2 weeks to get good results with it but now I love it.
Lok forward to seeing more of your macros.
