Yes we are neighbors ! Wonderful picture of Chaffinch the catch light is special and the composition is good too. I always feel catch light in birds in essential as it adds "LIFE" to the subject. Convey my regards to Mam Ulla as well

ths chubby cute bird is really attractive and beutiful. The clarity and the seen details of the feather and hed is really fascinating.
the green bckground always complement the beauty and it really gives a good feeling of security witnessing a bird with green leaves all around and green hues in the surrounding.

Ivan, this is a charming work. I like the feeling of depth superbly delivering this picture, I can talk about almost any kind of 3D. Very good colors, tones and sober adequate. The details of the bird, the texture of their plumage and coloration are beyond any comment.

Hi Ivan,

Even with our most uncomfortable weather this is a wonderful time of the year because of all the baby birds who come around with their parents. This little Chaffinch is precious in a lovely pose on the branches. I love the juvenile expression and the soft looking feathers. Wonderful colors, details, and composition (as always).

All is properly OOF while the small and helpless bird remains in focus so well. It has a feeling to it Ivan..Not sure how to call it..but I see a gentle feeling if that sounds right..

It is so pleasing to witness the care of parent birds with their fledgelings.
This is a delightful shot of this juvenile chaffinch, waiting expectantly on the branch. The sharp focus details its fluffy plummage and the alert catchlight in its eye, very well.
Excellent off-centre composition and a good dof.
